DESCRIPTION:The Kootenai County Courthouse, listed on the NRHP, was built in 1926 and we are already planning a Centennial celebration for the building for 2026. The event planning currently includes oral history program, a lecture series, application for a landmark / interpretive signage about the building, and a Centennial Celebration in July 2026. The Kootenai County Historic Preservation Commission (CLG) has formed a subcommittee and engaged in planning for the event.\nThis event is free to the public.\n
