DESCRIPTION:To celebrate American history and the invaluable contributions of Idahoans to our region, national and world.\nTo memorialize the life and contributions of Lorenzo West, an early Fort Boise pioneer, muleskinner and scout.\nLorenzo tirelessly hauled the materials, by mule team, that built Fort Boise.\nThe beautiful City of Boise grew outward from this fort. Many of the original fort buildings are in still in use today by the Boise VA Medical Center.\n
