CAPITOL CELEBRATION

Celebrate America250 on July 4 at the Idaho State Capitol.

On July 4th, history takes center stage in Boise. To mark the nation’s historic 250th anniversary, the America250 in Idaho Advisory Council invites you to a spectacular, free, and family-friendly community celebration on the State Capitol steps and Cecil Andrus Park.

Kicking off immediately following the Veterans Entrepreneur Pancake Breakfast and 4th of July Parade downtown, this once-in-a-generation celebration honors our shared history, celebrates Idaho’s communities, and inspires the future.

What to Expect

The A250 Concert: A powerhouse live music lineup on the Capitol steps, featuring a headline performance by some of Idaho’s best, including Josh Ritter, Afrosonics, Jeff Crosby, Chad Marvin & EllieMae, and the 25th Army Band.

Inside the Capitol: Tours and displays that bring Idaho’s distinct flair to the commemoration of this milestone inside the statehouse rotunda.

In the Park: Local food and beverage trucks, partner and vendor booths, a close-up display of the 4th of July Parade Show Floats, and interactive, hands-on activities for kids and families.
