America250 in Idaho Task Force

A dedicated task force comprising representatives from various state departments and agencies will plan and execute Idaho’s commemoration from July 2024 to December 2027. This group will ensure a coordinated and impactful statewide celebration.

America250 in Idaho Membership

On July 1, 2024, Governor Brad Little signed a proclamation acknowledging the America250 in Idaho commemoration from now through June 30, 2027.

America250 in Idaho Advisory Council

In 2024, the Idaho Legislature passed House Concurrent Resolution No. 31, establishing an Advisory Council to support the America250 in Idaho commemoration. With seven distinguished members the Advisory Council ensures a meaningful celebration of this historic milestone. 

The Council invites all Idahoans – individuals, organizations, and communities – to participate in commemorative activities celebrating our shared history and values. 

Heritage and Education

The Council promotes activities that strengthen Idaho’s values of: 

  • Family and community 
  • Integrity and self-reliance 
  • Patriotism and heritage reverence 

The Council champions the revolutionary ideals of: 

  • Representative government 
  • Individual liberty 
  • Equal and unalienable rights
