America 250 -Kootenai County Courthouse 100th Anniversary Celebration

This event will be a joint America 250 celebration with the City of Coeur d’Alene on July 3rd, 2026 on the east lawn of the Kootenai County Courthouse. Featured speakers will include Idaho Supreme Court Justice Cynthia Meyer and local government leaders. Local high school bands will perform along with musicians with the Coeur d’Alene Music Conservancy. The celebration will conclude with the dedication and placement of a 100 year time capsule. The events are a result of a unique nexus of celebrations which also include the State of Idaho’s 136th birthday, the 100th anniversary of the courthouse, the 100th anniversary of the Idaho State Bar and the 50th of the Idaho District 1 Bar.
