Flag Day Pancake Feed “Honoring Heros”

Join us for a heartfelt morning of gratitude and community as we kick off America 250 Meridian!

On Saturday, June 14, 2026 (Flag Day), from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, come celebrate at the Public Safety Training Center for the Flag Day Pancake Feed – Honoring Heroes.

This patriotic pancake breakfast brings together veterans, first responders, their families, and the entire Meridian community to say a big thank you to those who serve. Enjoy an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast featuring festive American-themed toppings like fresh red, white, and blue berries and star-shaped pancakes. Our cheerful volunteers in patriotic aprons will serve you with pride!

Highlights Include:
– Flag-Raising Ceremony led by American Legion Post 113
– Flag History Talk and interactive Flag Fold Demonstration
– Heroes’ Station – Write a personalized thank-you note to a local veteran or first responder
– Kids’ Corner with veteran storytelling sessions and patriotic craft activities

Whether you’re a veteran, first responder, proud family member, or a community member who wants to show appreciation, this family-friendly event is the perfect way to celebrate Flag Day and honor those who protect our freedoms.
