Lincoln County’s America 250 Celebration

The Lincoln County Historical Society together with our Lincoln County Commissioners are preparing to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States with a special community event on June 20, 2026, at the Lincoln County Museum located at 112 W. B. Street in Shoshone, ID. This day-long celebration will focus on educating local children and families about the historical significance of America’s 250th anniversary through storyboards, music, and live actors who will bring history to life. Our goal is to create a fun and meaningful experience that inspires curiosity and pride in our nation’s history.
